Public media audiences are growing as people turn to our stations and network programs for thoughtful, fair, and contextual journalism and public affairs analysis. But, as stations invest more in local, do we have the underlying culture of journalism to fulfill audience expectations? This session is a practical dive into our need for journalistic independence even when times get tough.
